You do not both need to be online at the same time. Once each round is ready, the plaintiff opens and the defendant responds. The AI judge scores completed rounds, and courtroom turns carry a 24-hour response deadline.

No. New case sessions can assign you either side at random.

Legal Arena generates a fresh legal matter when you start a dynamic case. Cases vary by country, client, facts, stakes, party assignment, practice area, and courtroom pressure, so the experience does not feel like replaying a single canned puzzle.

You can keep generating new cases without waiting for a previous case to become available again. Exiting intake closes only that session.

Once a session starts, the matter is stored as stable state. That means the client interview can feel flexible while the case facts remain consistent enough to argue from.

On your first visit, Legal Arena selects a country from the location signal available to the app, or defaults to the United States. Once you choose a country yourself, it is saved to your player profile and remains selected across reloads and devices.
